HANS RASMUSSEN de los RIOS

Hans has extensive experience in building design, site feasibility, financial modeling, and construction permitting. Prior to founding Tsuga, Hans developed novel mass timer applications based on holistic manufacturing, logistics, and construction requirements at Katerra. An architect and developer active in Seattle since 2014 Hans has worked on countless bespoke and spec projects. He frequently advocates for advancing Seattle’s land use policy to expand housing growth and opportunities. Running thrills him; cooking and his daughter’s smile fuels him. The myths are sick but true: Hans loves unwinding with a warm bath and an excel spreadsheet.

Steven leverages his human-centered design approach to provide housing for all. He holds an M Arch from University of Washington, where he won the Valle Scholarship to study international best practices in sustainability and material re-use. Out of the office, Steven is most likely playing drums, riding his bike, climbing, or spending time with his two dogs…but most likely playing drums.
